In 1886 Reverend George Fisher organized Kalispell's first Presbyterian congregation with 17 members and built Kalispell's first church in 1892, placing the Flathead Valley's first bell in the steeple. The bell currently rests on the front lawn of our church.
Today, with more than 300 members, the congregation of First Presbyterian Church of Kalispell is an active community striving to be faithful disciples of Jesus Christ. It is the people of our congregation that make this church a special place where we live our mission statement to live, learn, love and share the power of Christ.
Pastor Glenn Burfeind, Associate Pastor Miriam Mauritzen, Commissioned Pastor Patsy Lympus and the congregation invite you to worship with them each Sunday morning at 10:00am. Communion is offered the first and third Sunday of each month.
Nursery care is available for children ages three and under
throughout the morning and Sunday School for children of all ages begins
at 10:15 a.m. following a "Time with the Children" during the service.
Each Wednesday at 12 noon a time for study and fellowship is offered for adults. The Youth Group, which is active in service projects, meets from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday evenings
